Default Quad II overhaul

Where is a good place to go for Quad II overhaul? Apart from Quad perhaps.
The transformer at the front end (of the unit, that is) appears to have
overheated and melted its pitch. Is there any reasonable standard price
bracket for a full overhaul?

Any help TIA

I am curious; why would you wish to entrust the work to someone other
than Quad?

It's a fairly simple job for a valve specialist - depends what Quad's service
prices are I suppose.

Just because it's still called Quad doesn't mean a company will remain the
same after takeover.

I understand they no longer service the original ESL. Can't see Peter
Walker ever allowing that.
