Default Opinion / Valuation Sony ES3000 seperates

Hope I'm not asking this question in the wrong place.

I have been offered a set of Sony components and was wondering if anyone
here might be able to value them. They are all from the ES3000 range - midi
width, extruded aluminium chassis and champagne finish.
The bits are
1) CDP-X3000ES - CD Player
2) MDS-J3000ES - Minidisc
3) ST-3000ES - Tuner
4) TA-F3000ES - integrated amp

I have struggled to find any reviews or opinion on them except a few columns
from magazines.
The vendor is a friend of a friend and is a decent sort.
I am 'told' that original price for this sort of setup would have been in
excess of £2000 quid. This could of course be nonsense.
I am being asked for £450 for the setup which is in nice condition
generally - some non conspicuous scratches to the rear of two of the cases.
How would I be doing at this price, and is the kit held in any regard at all
?
I currently have it at home and am waiting on some suitable speakers coming
to try it out.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Cheers

John F
