Default A&R Cambridge T21 Tuner - good purchase or not?

Hi,

I have recently aquired an secondhand A&R Cambridge A60 amplifier and
am very pleased with it.

I am currently toying with the idea of aquiring the matching model of
tuner, the T21, (analogue, with presets) which appear to sell
secondhand for circa £50. I wonder if anyone has used / is using a T21
and has any comments on it?

My interest in buying one is obviously motivated more by joy of
ownership than aquiring the maximum 'bang for the buck' for £50. Thus
I would like to know what people think of it in terms of sound
quality, sensitivity, ease of use and reliability rather than how it
matches up with the state of the art.

Within this criteria, is £50 or so a reasonable amount to pay? It has
occurred to me that their market value may be artificially inflated
somewhat by people wanting the matching model of tuner to the more
common A60 amplifier.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Mark
