Isn't ebay the vehicle of choice? I see things go there for more than dealers
prices - last minute increases from competitive punters who don't like to lose
at things.

The Central London edition of Loot was very effective in the early to
mid 1990s; I have no idea whether it still is, however.

There are possibly a few around - most tend to be for dedicated
followers of a particular brand of equipment - fan clubs not part of the
official maker's site.

I am now a member of Beoworld, having recently acquired a Bang & Olufsen
second-hand system. There are several fora (or discussion groups) on the
site.

It depends whether you want a general forum or a more specific one.
