I haven't experimented with 2 box solutions, so I can't comment on this.

Your question was worth a punt, someone might have compared the two
players but it will still only be their opinion, you might not agree.

transport get them to bring theirs round and see if you can hear any


hah, my friends all have mini/micro systems.

difference over a few beers (another good way to ruin and valid test)


a few pints can turn any low-fi system into audio nirvana ...
