I apologise if ths question has been asked before in this group but can anyone
tell me what is the BBcs commitment to maintaining FM broadcasts in face of the
digital onslaught

Dunno, why not ask them?, is a good start.

About another 20 years is a fairly good guess....

Dunno, why not ask them?, is a good start.

Great! :-) I think DAB is pretty low quality, much worse sounding than FM
(apart from FM hiss, which doesn't bother me)

Dunno why people are buying digital radios. Hype & marketing I guess.
