More ways to part the gullible from their hard earned
I just received a one month sanction on an Australian (moderated) forum
for calling out this thing as utter bull****: http://www.furutech.com/2017/10/11/15603/ I love the way the company has strung together a bunch of pseudo-scientific words to justify an expensive waste of money. I made the mistake of challenging the importer on the lies promulgated. Unfortunately, I ****ed off an advertiser. The entire thread has been removed. -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |

First, it generates negative ions that eliminate static. Second, it converts thermal energy into far infrared. Furutech combines this remarkable material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional piezoelectric damping properties. The resulting Nano Crystal² Formula, exclusive to Furutech, is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material." -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |

I do gain some traction at times. I suspect that, were I not as popular as I am, that I would have copped a much longer ban. -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |

Hmm, well, There is one thing missing from this device. a Rat and other
rodent removal device to stop them chewing your cables. I cannot help wondering though that if any system is so badly affected by the type or the routing of a speaker or other cable its design should be seen as suspect. I have attended demos when I was younger for special cables for speakers and some do sound slightly different, but to my mind just the routing of a cable, assuming no interfering devices etc should not make any difference. I do remember doing an experiment with a very long cable rolled up and you could hear some difference there on one particular amp, but not on another. Suspicion that output stage was not unconditionally stable and immune to inductive and capacitive loads. No such elaborate devices as this one are obviously a load of tosh. I do feel that good old Russ's stuff like special mains plugs and leads are much the same since the miles of normal copper out there is not going to be affected by a couple of metres of very high quality wire and connectors. I wonder if its like the placebo effect? Are you paying money to support your belief rather than anything else? Brian -- ----- - This newsgroup posting comes to you directly from...
