Small, wireless stereo mics?
I looked around google for a pair of small, wireless stereo
microphones but didn't find anything. I'm hoping to get a set with
mics roughly the size/shape of ear-bud headphones, or maybe a little
larger. I found lots of hand-held mics and a few smaller ones, but
nothing quite like what I need. Can anyone point me in the right
direction?

Define "stereo". Do you mean a single unit that transmits two
channels, or do you mean two mics, each with their own transmitter?
Define "small". Most of the "clip-on" or "lavaliere" or "body"
mics used with wireless transmitters are the size of ear-bud
headphones, and many are quite a bit smaller.
Maybe if you explain what you are trying to do we can get a
better notion of what you are looking for.

If anyone makes a stereo wireless mic, I've not seen one. The problem with
analogue wireless links tends to be the companding used which effects the
imaging. Latest digital technology might offer a solution.
The smallest pro radio mic trasmitters are still about half the size of a
packet of fags - with an external mic which can be very small. Making the
transmitter smaller is difficult due to the size of the batteries needed
for a reasonable range and life.

That's not a mic, but a transmitter you plug mics into. And I doubt the OP
would be interested at that price. ;-)

By that definition there is no such thing as a "wireless mic"! :-)
And I doubt the OP would be interested at that price. ;-)
The OP didn't state a budget, or much of anything for that matter.

I'd say most would consider an all in one design like a radio hand mic to
be just that. Some are no bigger than near equivalent corded types. And a
high quality stereo version that could be 'slung' for say classical
recordings would find many applications - if you could provide reasonable
battery life.
And I doubt the OP would be interested at that price. ;-)

You have to read between the lines on these sorts of question. ;-)

You didn't have to read between the lines to see that the OP
explicitly asked for something "roughly the size/shape of ear-bud
headphones, or maybe a little larger." In my book this precludes
any kind of "radio hand mic".

It excludes any radio mic. Unless you believe what you see on TV detective
soaps - which wouldn't surprise me.
