Vauxhall CD30 radio faceplate removal? by Fred[_4_]
Hi, I posted recently about a faulty volume knob on a Vauxhall/blaupunkt cd30 radio. I've finally got round to trying to have a look at it. I used google and eventually found a post where some chap was removing all the orange surface mount LEDs and replacing them with blue ones. The post said that you had to unscrew the large T20 screws on the sides of the radio and the front plate would detach...

Ministry of Sounds MOSCA104 by Brian Horton
A Ministry of Sounds MOSCA104 car stereo/MP3 player has recently been fitted to a Narrowboat we share. It seems to have all kinds of problems: 1) I can't get the traffic messages to fully switch off - at best the set switches to the traffic channel then back again after a few seconds 2) When playing an MP3 CD the audio pulses so it's more or less un- listenable 3) Recording from MP3 CD to...

Hybrid car below $1200 by Hybrid car below $1200
-- You could install-it-yourself if you work around car before. The theory is simple! You waste lots of energies through brake frictions that can't be avoided in order to brake effectively. Now there is a device that allows you to avoid those frictions, this device adds a strong friction back when you need to brake, when you don't need to brake your car runs freely without any drag. A...

Kenwood BT8044U by daniel
Hi Folks, Does anyone have one of these head units. I am considering installing it in my little matiz. Can you comment on quality of the bluetooth, does it stay in sync. I know it has USB on the back, does it also have an aux input (the manual suggests it does). Any info gratefully received. Thx.

Pls recommend stereo for Primera 02 by Jack Russell
Hi all, I know this is a very general and possibly emotive question, but I'll risk it. I'm pulling the factory radio/cassette out of my 02 Primera (P11-144) and replacing with an after-market Radio/CD. (Nissan are gougers having raised the price from 15 to 43 pounds for the new hazard light switch that is required.)

Ford 6000 cd and mobile phones by Justine
My daughter has just purchased a Ford Fiesta 1.25 Freedom (07) Special Edition. The car has a Ford 6000 cd and is set up with bluetooth, I have paired telephones to the system but find that even though I can hear the caller clearly in the car, they can not hear me, well only faintly. Are we supposed to plug a wire into the headphone socket of the phone and connect it to the aux plug by the gear...

Cyclone alarm siren wiring? by DaveC[_2_]
Bought a cheap car alarm siren. Seller says it is Cyclone brand but no labels to that effect. Wires: red (+), black (-), and 3 wires with a molex connector: blue, yellow, green. Grounding the blue wire triggers a series of alarm tones that sound as long as the blue wire is grounded. I'm trying to find out what functions the other 2 wires trigger.
