creative inspire 5.1

i have a creative inspire 5.1 sound system on my pc is it possible to
connect this to my philips tv to achieve a better sound than my integral tv
speakers?

this is an obscure issue
you wont get 5.1 sound obviously but you should get a better
sound
but this depends on whether these inspires have an anlogue
input

if they do and i am guessing it is a single jack input
and if your tv has audio outputs then you should be able to
provide you buy the right lead to convert from whatever the input
to output is

i have put my tvs or thompson digi box outs though various hi fi amps
and speakers and got amazing results..i am not suggesting anyone
watch Family Affairs on C5 but I am amazed at how loud all the
background
sound is mixed on that when you do this
