It's often very difficult to get a system which sounds good at low volumes.
First move might be to get rid of the Dynaudio's and try something along the
lines of the small Spendor inf. baffle enclosure on a pair of good stands.
I think you might be surprised at how good they are! You amp will be ideal
to get the best out of them and they won't generate the room rattling bass
which drives your neighbours to distraction.

I'm moving to a smaller house soon and alas my present audio stuff will
need changing for a smaller, more neighbour-friendly set-up.
At present I have a Bryston pre/power combo (250-watter) and a pair of
large Dynaudio floorstanders. Nothing-special CD-player as imho
cd-players are nothing special.
I've seen various favourable reviews around stuff like AVI integrated
amps and ATC or Dynaudio standmount speakers. Are these worth a whirl? I
was thinking of heading for the Cornflake shop at some stage as the
present lot came from there but there's so much BS around reviews, paper
specifications, etc. and it's been six years or more since I gave hifi a
glance. The present stuff "just works", incredibly well too. What I'm
looking for is classical and modern jazz/world without the neighbours at
the door.
I've also seen a Krell 300i integrated amp going ex-dem. Worth checking
or worth avoiding?
What not just use tour present kit and turn the volume down?
