(unused for 15 years!). EBay looks the best place, but I'm wondering

what
it's worth (to gauge a reserve price). I see occasional Rega 2s for

sale,
but the Hadcock is an unknown. Condition of the dust cover is fair,

Hadcock
is missing it's small weight that pulls the arm across (put away in a

I have a Rega 2 (is the 'classic' your description or another model?)
with a Hadcock 228D (detachable arm). It's not for sale, but if I was
selling it I'd probably hope to get about £150 for the pair. I don't
know whether that's realistic. It's a real problem when you don't see
them for sale very often.

The problem with selling decent record decks is the buyer is unsure of the
condition of the motor. I heard dropping the platter on the spindle damages
it. You won't know it's damanged, but it is.

I don't think I'll buy a second hand record deck, rather go to my dealer and
buy a brand new one.
