I am currently very fond of the 6em7 as a gain and driver stage, very similar
to a 6sn7 - 2a3 combination.

I started on the dissimilar triodes but only got as far as the 6EW7. I have
some 6DR7 but that's it - may have to re-stock. I was reading about the 6EM7
today on the asylum, curiously. Andy
