Default Small, wireless stereo mics?

Yes, I guess I wasn't clear about what I wanted. I don't really care
about the size of the transmitter, within reason. Something the size

of the actual microphones, which I now realize have nothing to do with
the transmitter since I'd be purchasing them separately. My bad.

There is a vast range of pretty tiny mics - actually meant for 'lapel'
use, but some are ok for general stuff. Most are omni-directional, though.

The smallest ones are little bigger than a match head.

Anyway, if it helps, here's what I'm trying to do with the equipment:

I want to attach the microphones to the outside of a pair of wireless
headphones, one mic on each ear, giving a stereo effect. Whatever the
mics pick up would be sent off to a wireless headphone transmitter and
then back to the headphones. So the person wearing this contraption
would hear what's going on around them, but only via the headphones.
I realize there will be some sound leaking in from outside, but that's
something I'll have to live with.. at least until someone decides to
give me huge amounts of money for wireless, soundproofed headphones.

If you're mounting the microphones in close proximity to the headphones,
I'd say you'll run into feedback problems.
