I have a Monitor Audio Bronze B2AV package connected to a Sony STRDB940

The receiver is not that great with stereo music reproduction. I would
like to get a separate stereo amp for listening to music, however, I
would still like to use the Monitor Audio Bronze B2 fronts.

How would I go about using the speakers with the stereo amp while they
are connected to the Sony Receiver. I don't want to keep unplugging and
plugging in etc. I have them in a biwired configuration at the moment.

If either amp has an aux mains output, use that to switch a relay.

That's what I do.
I used an old 12v psu from the junkbox and a
12v 4 pole, double throw relay to switch the grounds
as well as the hot speaker wires.
