It is, actually. As a warning to anyone tempted to swallow less
obvious audiophile snake-oil :-) There's a lot out there.


But, back to the topic: classic Pink Triangles are good turntables and
should not be providing motor hum. My original PT certainly doesn't
supply any hum from its DC motor to any carts, including a Rega Bias.
If earthing the tonearm doesn't sort the problem, then I would suggest
getting an MC cart. Perhaps a high output Dynavector. The deck will
respond well to an arm upgrade too, but that's another story.
