Default DVD-Audio

Whoa!!!! You want to convert a red book CD (16 bit 44.1KHz sampling
frequency) to DVD-A which usually starts at 24/48 and goes up 24/192.

Indeed - I know that...

However 44.1/16 is suported and should therefore work fine.

You keep talking about DVD-Audio when you really (I think) mean DVD-V
compliant formats. I have personally never tried exactly what you are
attempting to do but would suggest you make an MP3 320bps disc of you
favourites and cut to DVD-R. Very good quality and easily done and you

will
fit heaps of tracks on.

My players will not play MP3 on DVD. Shame really.

To do exactly what you want to do and you would need to make a DVD-Video
(obviously without he video, menus and include an auto start) and load it
with your CDA tracks.

That's my second line of defense...
