OK, I have a DVD writer in my PC, and a DVD-Audio player. Can I make
a
compilation of multiple CDs at full 16bit/44k onto one DVD-R for
convenience? Unfortunately, the player won't play MP3 on DVD so the
alternative is MP3 or WMA on CD which is fine, but seems like a bit
of
a
waste...
I think so.
Check back here later - I'm giving it a go right now.
OK, smacked off it atm!
Both my DVDPs don't like either WAVs or MP3s on DVD - the Pioneer says
'can't play disc' and the eBench says 'bAd dISC' (which is odd because
it
also says NOd ISC when its empty..... :-)
However, I'm informed that the Cyberhome (from WH Smits for £49) will
play
MP3s from a DVD R/RW.......
Looks like I'm screwed - if anything changes (feelers are out) I'll
report
back here.
Same finding here - my Aiwa/Sony DVDP won't play audio (wav/mp3) from a
DVD.
Shame really, seems quite obvious ...

In answer to the above posts, but not the op's request, DVD audio can be
done this way:

Hadn't thought of that!
